Hisayuki ‘Deko’ Idekoba is CEO and President of Indeed and Representative Director, President and CEO of Recruit Holdings (TSE: 6098). A seasoned leader in global two-sided marketplaces, Deko has a proven track record of driving innovation, digital transformation and long-term growth at scale.
Deko previously led Recruit’s acquisitions of Indeed and Glassdoor and was appointed Head of Recruit’s HR Technology Business in 2021. Under his leadership, Recruit’s HR technology portfolio has evolved into the world’s leading HR matching services, helping millions of jobseekers and employers connect more efficiently.
Earlier in his career, Deko spearheaded the digital transformation of several Recruit Group businesses, including Jalan and Hot Pepper Beauty. He successfully transitioned these services from print to digital, helping normalise online booking in Japan and laying the foundation for Recruit’s broader digital evolution.
Deko holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Waseda University in Tokyo.
His first job was in roofing, working for his family’s business in Kagoshima, Japan, where working in the heat taught him to constantly seek efficiency and find opportunities to streamline complex, manual tasks.

Ayano ‘Sena’ Senaha is Chief People Officer (CPO) at Indeed and a Board Director of the company, focused on helping employees around the world grow, thrive and do their best work. She also serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Managing Corporate Executive Officer at Recruit Holdings, where she oversees the Corporate Communications, Human Resources and General Affairs, Risk Management divisions, as well as Group Governance within the Corporate Planning division.
Sena has played a pivotal role in Recruit Group’s rapid global expansion, leading several post-merger integration efforts and helping scale operations across markets. She previously served as Chief of Staff at Indeed, and has held senior leadership roles at Recruit Holdings where she drove organisational effectiveness and alignment across the company’s global HR technology portfolio. Earlier in her career, after working in sales at Recruit, she served as Managing Director of a newly acquired recruitment business in London, where she successfully turned around its financial performance.
Deko holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Waseda University in Tokyo.
Her first job was in sales in Tokyo, where she learned the front door wasn’t always the fastest way in, forging her belief that growth comes from challenging assumptions and reimagining the route forward.

She partners closely with R&D to scale products that allow employers to recruit refficiently, driving sustainable revenue growth by ensuring every new solution delivers meaningful value to both sides of the recruitment marketplace.
Previously, Maggie served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Jobseeker at Indeed, where she led product, engineering, design, strategy and operations. She has also held roles as General Manager for Enterprise Research & Development and Vice President of Global Sales Strategy, giving her deep experience across both the commercial and product sides of the business.
Prior to Indeed, she held leadership roles at Google and McKinsey & Company. She currently serves on the board of Social Impact Partners and as a member of the Connecticut Governor’s Workforce Council.
She graduated cum laude from Harvard with a BA in Economics and received her Masters in Business Administration with distinction from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Anthony Moisant is Chief Information Officer (CIO) & Chief Security Officer (CSO) at Indeed. In his role, he leads the global teams responsible for protecting Indeed’s marketplace, including cybersecurity, privacy, data protection, physical security and enterprise systems. His work is centred on building trust while ensuring that Indeed’s services are resilient, reliable and secure.
Anthony is also driving Indeed’s evolution into an AI-first company. He focuses on bringing secure and responsible AI into everyday workflows so teams can work smarter, move faster and deliver better outcomes for jobseekers and employers.
In addition to his role at Indeed, Anthony serves as an executive officer at Indeed’s parent company Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd., where he oversees security and information technology across the company’s global HR technology business.
Prior to joining Indeed, Anthony served as SVP & Chief Information Officer at Glassdoor. He also held leadership roles at Tribune Media and Sony Gracenote.
Anthony completed the CIO Executive Programme at Boston University and is a graduate of the US Navy Nuclear Submarine School. He credits his military service with shaping his leadership philosophy, instilling resilience, accountability and a deep commitment to mission and teamwork.

Jim Giles is Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Indeed, leading the technical strategy and evolution of the company’s global AI engineering organisation to transform how people get jobs and how employers recruit with speed, confidence and trust. He brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling mission-critical platforms, along with a strong belief in technology as a force for human progress, applying AI intentionally to scale impact without losing sight of the people it serves.
Prior to Indeed, Jim was Vice President of Engineering for Google Workspace, where he led engineering for products used by more than a billion people globally, including Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive. While at Google, he helped lead the transition to an AI-first product strategy and founded the Workspace AI platform to power AI development and enable cross-product journeys. Earlier in his career, he held senior engineering roles at Google and was a Distinguished Engineer at IBM.
Jim holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
His first job was as a petroleum storage tank painter in southern Illinois, where long days working outdoors taught him the value of hard work, resilience and pride in craftsmanship.

Previously, James held executive marketing roles at high-growth start-ups and global enterprises such as Celigo and Netapp, building teams and brands that are both data-driven and deeply human.
He credits his early struggles with learning difficulties as a key motivator in every aspect of his life, fuelling his drive to communicate clearly, think creatively and lead with empathy.
James graduated from Northumbria University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business.
His first job was as a waiter at a hotel in London, where the demands of split shifts and the need to anticipate customer needs instilled a lasting commitment to hard work and service.

Lowell Brickman is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Indeed. In this role, he leads the company’s legal, privacy and risk management functions, ensuring global legal compliance while aligning Indeed’s risk profile with the strategic expectations of the Board of Directors and shareholders. Additionally, Lowell serves as Corporate Executive Officer within the International Risk Management Division at Recruit Holdings.
Lowell’s tenure at Indeed began in 2012, when he joined as the company’s first General Counsel and Secretary. Over the past decade, he built Indeed’s legal and risk infrastructure from the ground up, scaling the teams to support the company’s evolution into a global industry leader.
Lowell started his career as an in-house counsel at Rafael Advanced Defence Systems.
He is a graduate of Harvard Law School and has a Bachelor of Arts from Brandeis University.
His first job was a business he started in primary school, washing cars, mowing lawns and cleaning windows in Charleston, South Carolina, where he learned not to use solvents on cars, unless you want to strip the paint.

Ken Asano is President of Indeed Recruit Partners and Indeed Recruit Technologies, leading both organisations. He concurrently serves as General Manager of Indeed Japan, overseeing all HR business operations in the country.
Previously, he was Executive Vice President at Recruit, a subsidiary of Recruit Holdings, where he led the Product Division from 2020, managing a portfolio spanning Marketing and HR Solutions. Before that, he served as Representative Director and President of both Recruit Sumai Company (real estate) and Recruit Lifestyle (dining, beauty and travel) until their integration into Recruit in 2021.
He first joined Recruit in 1992 in HR sales before serving as editor-in-chief of several key HR publications. Asano brings a proven track record in product development and innovation, and his cross-functional leadership across HR and Marketing continues to drive strategic value within the Recruit Group.
Ken holds a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kanazawa University in Japan.
His first job was in the Flexible Network Exchange business within Recruit’s first digital department in Tokyo, where he gained firsthand insight into scalable models and customer retention that underpin great internet businesses.

Joe joined Indeed in 2008 and has held multiple leadership roles across the company. He began his career as an account manager at Pepsi Bottling Group in Connecticut, US, before moving into a leadership role at Pfizer as a territory manager. Joe gives back to his community by serving on his local youth sports board.

Prior to joining Indeed, Pascal served as Chief Strategy Officer at Alorica and Cognizant. He began his career in management consulting at Adventis, where he rose from associate to lead its largest practice and later served as Chief Operating Officer. He subsequently served several years as a Partner and Practice Leader at McKinsey & Company.
Pascal has served on the boards of the MIT Center for Digital Business, the Massachusetts Advanced Cyber Security Center and several start-up companies. He is also a Flotilla Commander in the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and regularly serves on boat crews supporting US Coast Guard active-duty surface operations.

In this role, Ginés oversees marketplace management to ensure a healthy, balanced, and high-performing two-sided ecosystem; monetization through pricing, packaging, and commercialization strategy; and the development and deployment of AI-powered products that improve matching quality and outcomes across the platform.

Vikram Subramaniam is Group Vice President of Product and UX at Indeed, where he leads the strategy and execution of products that power the jobseeker experience across the platform. In this role, Vikram owns the end-to-end jobseeker experience and oversees user experience design across the Indeed platform, ensuring interactions are intuitive, human and delightful for all users. He also leads Indeed’s AI infrastructure – the foundational backbone that supports AI product innovation and acceleration company-wide – and guides the development of AI experiences designed to act as trusted companions for jobseekers.
Vikram brings deep experience in the HR technology sector, having held leadership roles spanning product strategy, operations and marketplace innovation. His career includes product and leadership positions at Upwork, Symphony Talent, Chegg Careers, eBay, Netflix and Yahoo. He began his career in management consultancy.

An entrepreneur at heart, Novo co-founded the staffing platform Syft in 2015. The company was acquired by Indeed in 2019 and rebranded as Indeed Flex in 2020. Today, the platform operates in the US and UK, combining technology and marketplace scale to modernise flexible work.
Before launching Syft, Novo worked in financial markets as a Senior Arbitrage Trader at Chicago-based alternative investments fund Tradelink LLC. He is also a board member of Matchable.com, an all-in-one platform for corporate volunteering and giving back. This role informs his approach to purpose-led leadership, proving that a digital ecosystem should drive community value as effectively as it drives commercial growth.

Previously Rony co-founded jobsinthemoney.com in 1998, which became the premier job site for financial professionals before its sale to Financial News in 2003. He began his career in technology consulting at Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting).
Rony holds a BSc Honours in Economics from Texas A&M and an MBA with Distinction from INSEAD.
